DO YOU HAVE FABULOUS IDEAS FROM THE PAST YEAR, PAST AGE LEVELS, PAST TRIPS, ETC.?

 

PLEASE SHARE THEM ON OUR WEBSITE!!

 

Why should each leader “recreate the wheel” when there are so many “seasoned” leaders that have fabulous ideas and have learned from experience.  I’m sure many of you have information on your computer right now that could help others.  So, help your fellow leaders by sharing your ideas, experiences and helpful hints.  We hope you use it as a “bounce board” to spring new ideas for your troop.  Use the website as a resource yourself! 

Here is what we need from you:

 

AGE LEVEL:

o   A Sample year – list age level

o   Petals- Try-its – Badges:  tell us

o   what is being earned (patch)

o   the specific activity that worked for you or any alteration to the requirements

o   helpful hints to complete it

o   your troop #

o   Successful activities:  please list

o   what you did

o   where you did it

o   does it meet the requirement for a patch

o   any comments – time of year, what to bring, etc.

o   Any helpful website addresses. 

o   Indicate if it is for all levels or a specific level.

 

GENERAL CRAFTS/SWAPS/GAMES:

o   List craft/swap/game

o   The specific instructions

o   Your troop #.

o   Website addresses you found helpful.

 

CEREMONIES:

o   Send any scripts you created or found to be special

o   List age level

o   List locations

o   Helpful hints

o   Troop #

 

SERVICE PROJECTS:

o   List projects

o   length of time

o   cost

o   any contact information

o   Website addresses.

 

THINKING DAY COUNTRIES:

o   List the country

o   activities/crafts.

o   List resources

o   timeline to start learning and preparing for thinking day

CAMPING:

o   Good locations for age levels

o   Helpful hints from experience

o   Recipes for cooking outdoors

o   Troop #

TRIPS:

o   List the place

o   Amount of time for travel

o   Length of entire trip

o   Price of the trip

o   The age level it is appropriate

o   Any contact information

o   Brief description and comments/helpful hints

o   Recommendation:  girls loved it/highly recommend, average but better for this age level, etc.

o   Troop #

 

LEADER RESOURCES:

o   Helpful hints to new or young leaders

o   Websites that you found helpful

o   Systems that make your life easier – send example
